Hello! My name is Leah. I'm an artist with over 4 years of graphic design experience and a strong background in customer service and technology.

I am currently doing freelance work but I am seeking full-time employment in a creative environment.

Currently, I live in my parents' hometown in Southern Kentucky but lived most of my life near Orlando, FL. I'm ready for whatever life has to offer and to move where-ever my talents lead. I live with my beloved little min pin, Chessie, and enjoy spending time with relatives and friends in the area. It’s also nice to still be within driving distance of the city for those emergency shopping trips. =)

I’ve always had an artistic spirit and have been involved in various creative activities throughout my life (painting, drawing, photography, crafts, etc.). About ten years ago I discovered a love of computers. With the two of these interests, I decided to attend school and obtain my degree in Graphic Design.

Starting Valencia Community College in the summer of 2002 was very hard. I was a very nervous 25 year old. I didn't know what to expect, as I was much older than the other students but soon found myself loving every minute of school. My natural gift for the creative was enhanced through the various courses I completed. I especially loved the drawing classes and the work produced from this class.

Seeking my bachelor's degree in the near future is first on my “to do” list as well as taking classes such as, pottery, photography, etc. Not only will I increase my skills but further explore my passion for the creative. I've always prided myself in seeing the creative side to even the smallest plant, animal, or interesting angle of an object.
