The Talisman

The Expectation:
Only attitudes, feelings, and emotions can be programmed into a Talisman. One must decide which of these, and the nature of these, that they wish to put into the object. Almost any object can be used for a Talisman, but stones, wood, and metal are the most preferred. Having chosen the feeling, emotion, or attitude that you wish for the Talisman to radiate, you must also choose the area, or circumference, of its effect: close, nearby, or extended. One must also be aware that the Talisman will affect its wearer. An example: You program a Talisman to radiate peace or tranquility to those around you. Your Talisman will also radiate peace and tranquility to yourself.

The Desire:
This is certainly an example that when the greater the Desire, the better for the Work. It is quite necessary to manifest, one way or another, the desire, or feeling, as strongly as one is able, and project this into the object. It is wise, when one first begins to work on Talismans, not to make an effort to create one that is too complex or complicated. And avoid putting contradictory emotions or feelings into the object.

The Merging:
One generates the proper feeling, emotion, or attitude and then one carries this feeling, emotion, or attitude, into a Merged state. One "sees" the feeling, emotion, or attitude, being "Patterned" upon the very atomic structure of the object, and at that time, one also sets the area of its influence.

Note:
When one has completed a Work, it is best if they leave the area quickly and distract their attention from the Work they've just done. One does not want to accidentally add anything else to the Work while they may be even slightly Merged.
