Your teacher will give you a basic description of merging and demonstrate it with conscious experiences of the state of mind with magickal games or exercises. Keep in mind the following:
MERGING IS A PROCESS IN WHICH ONE'S AWARENESS REACHES A LEVEL OF SYNCHRONICITY WITH THE GROUND OF BEING.
The above is the short and basic definition of Merging. However, here is the full definition, which one would be wise to memorize by rote:
"MERGING IS A PROCESS IN WHICH ONE'S AWARENESS REACHES A LEVEL OF SYNCHRONICITY WITH THE GROUND OF BEING. MERGING IS THE OPPOSITE OF HYPNOSIS. IN MERGING, ONE'S AWARENESS DIFFUSES, TO SOME DEGREE, INTO THE BOUNDLESSNESS."
a. When you merge with Manifested Reality, you must follow natural law.
b. If you merge with the Unmanifested, there can be spontaneous creation - natural law can be
circumvented. There are dangers inherent here, though, to the unwary.
