A INTRODUCTION BY SEABH-ANA

I have always been a woman of questions, especially those of a spiritual nature. I spent over 10 years, for the most part, as a solitary Wiccan. I read and studied nearly everything on the subject. By that time, I had come to the conclusion that there had to be more…more answers…and more questions that would follow…and there were. An invitation to a “Druid” meeting in the Fall of 2001 literally changed my life. I will admit that upon leaving that first meeting I was quite astounded, but I was also intrigued. I had never experienced this type of learning environment before. Freedom to explore…There was a ritual that night in which I was allowed to take part. There was also a feeling of genuine interest from the members. They wanted to know me. It was exactly the opportunity that I needed at that point in my life. When I was initiated into the Order of Gwyddoniaid-Druids several months later, I was truly reborn. I felt as if I had come home.

The “musings” that I have included here are from my own “Lesser Book,” in which I have documented my spiritual thoughts, education, and experiences since my initiation into the Order. My understanding started to take hold in my 1st degree. I was able to follow a set structure and focus on the basic concepts. The Manifested universe became my friend. By 2nd degree, I thought I had a good handle on things…only to realize that in dealing with the Unmanifested universe, experience and expectation are two very different things, 3rd degree and The Ground of Being proved to be somewhat unsettling but offered a deeper level of understanding.

I was going through these degrees when I decided to go back to college. Through the teachings of the Order and the knowledge I have gained from my education I continue to learn and grow…I am a Gwyddon in every sense of the word. I majored in Psychology, minored in History, and achieved 3rd degree status within the Gwyddonic Order. I serve as acting High Priestess of my own Druidic College and plan to begin Master’s level courses soon in order to become a therapist. I welcome you and the opportunity to share my experiences while gaining insight through any comments you might wish to share…
