1. The Wayland will send out notification to all members concerning the High Day and Moon Rituals. It is very important that you respond to the Wayland as to whether or not you will be attending these Meetings, so that it is known how many members to expect. This may be done by letter or by telephone. 2. If a member has been contacted by the Wayland 3 times and does not respond with a positive or a negative as to whether they will attend the Meeting, they will not be contacted again by the Wayland, until they contact the Wayland. Until they make contact, they are considered to be inactive members. 3. The Keeper of the Jugs may come by and ask for contributions for the Wine Fund. If you can, give freely. The Keeper if the Jugs is also responsible for beverages that are non-alcoholic for those who do not consume alcohol. 4. The Treasurer will keep a listing of those dues are paid and those whose are not. Please keep up with your dues. 5. When the Members begin to arrive, they are to be greeted by the High Priestess (or someone who is designated by her) with a chalice of wine. The greeting is as follows: GREETED: In Perfect Love and Perfect Peace (or any variation thereof). 6. Prior to the Meeting and Ritual, smoking tobacco is permitted until the Ritual begins. The Greeting Wine and a single glass of wine are also permitted. The wine is to be used mainly for toasting and drinking during the Feast. No recreational enhancements until after the Meeting! 7. Only Craft related matters are to be discussed during the Feast! The Wayland will enforce this policy! 8. If someone brings a Potential Member to a meeting, this member is responsible for that person’s behavior. 9. All members are expected to help and police the area up after the Meeting is over. This includes the dishes. 10. Everyone is expected to make a contribution for the Feast. This can take the form of food that is brought, or monies contributed to a fund to buy food. The Food Fund is a different entity than the Wine Fund. 11. All members shall bring with them their Robes, Twens, and Hudlaths. Your Wine Chalice is optional. 12. Be on time! Each meeting will start at a particular time, whether everyone is here or not. If you are going to be late, it is your responsibility to inform the Wayland ahead of time. 13. The Wayland will give the signal as to when everyone is to "robe up." |
