SPEAKER:
The young lord, his noble face looking seaward,
gazes upon the great fleet of Minos, that wiley ruler, king of the ocean empire, who would not give the Great Mother Her due. The young lord is dismayed at the acts of his mad monarch, for the awesome Mother will not leave unpunished such an afront against Her divine privilege. The young lord says to himself: I am a Priest of The Sleeper, one who loves the Goddess, and mayhap, is loved by Her. CHORUS: Fearsome! Terrible in Her anger! She turns Her darksome face towards men and none will be safe until She is given Her due! SPEAKER: Amergin, young and brave, likes not the Blue Men, nor the fearful Door, for he foresees that their weirding gifts will bring disaster to The Beautiful Isle. He foresees truly all that is hidden, for the gifts of shadow and dissolution, do bring dread cataclysm upon the ocean empire And so it begins: The tremors, the quakes, and the eruptions! Amergin watches as his island home gasps its final breath CHORUS: Fearsome! Terrible in Her beauty! She looks upon Atlantis with spite for those who gave not their homage would soon be removed from Her sight! SPEAKER: Westward! Westward with sails unfurled, they flew from Chaos and Turmoil, welcomed by the Mother of the Tarquins, resting briefly from their fears. Westward! Ever westward! Fleeing, guided by the druid, the bard: Amergin! They came to the Pillars at the world’s edge. The Priestess of the City of Gold took them in. Sailing on! Knowing not what perils lie ahead, arriving at last in the land of Erin. Greeted with the Love of the Goddess, challenge was issued to these bold invaders by the people there. CHORUS: Fearsome! Awesome in Her welcome! The Mother Goddess welcomes these new people to Her land, rebuking those who would turn them away! Amergin takes the eighth wave test! SPEAKER: Challenge given! Challenge accepted! Challenge won! As the Goddess smiled upon these people who came in search of a home, setting aside those, now in pitiful woe, who had fought against them! Amergin led his people to the new land, the Goddess ever guiding him on their journey. The settlement flourished, as did the Bard, our Lord, the Druid: Amergin! Respect to the Goddess, did Amergin pay: Allegiance to Her who had led them from disaster. In totality did he embrace Her, in awe of his Lady: She Who is And Always Will Be! CHORUS: Awesome! Unknown in Her totality! She Who is All Things gives favor! Favor to one who knows not, yet soon will receive Her Blessings! SPEAKER: Amergin learns much from the Lady, but, comes one most beautiful, one so lovely, so kind, smitten is he. Smitten and falling deeply in Love! Nimue is She. Nimue, the Lady of the Lake Nimue, She Who Is All Things Nimue, She Who is Beloved of Amergin! CHORUS: Nimue and Amergin! Passion runs deep! Who is this Lady, this woman, that captures the heart of the Bard? SPEAKER: Amergin learns and Loves from Nimue! but comes here one most beautiful, one so sensuous, so voluptuous, smitten is he. Smitten and falling deeply in Love! Cliodna is She, Cliodna, the Maiden Dark. Cliodna, She Who is All Things, Cliodna, She Who is Beloved of Amergin! Cliodna and Amergin! Passion runs deep! Who is this Lady, this woman, that captures the heart of the Druid? CHORUS: Awesome! Most beautiful in countenance! Her Love is that which is most desired! Desired by one who knows not, yet soon will know Her in ways unimagined! SPEAKER: Madness comes! Love abounds! Chaos reigns! Who is this Lady, this one called Nimue? Ninue, so lovely, kind, and gentle! The Bard knows Her, yet he knows Her not! Madness comes! Chaos reigns! Love abounds! Who is this Lady, this one called Cliodna? Cliodna, so sensuous, voluptuous, and exciting! The Druid knows Her, yet knows Her not! He Loves Them both, They both Love him, His heart is breaking, his soul is torn; How can one Love so completely two different amours?! CHORUS: Awesome! Most beautiful in countenance! Their Love is that which is most desired! Desired by one who knows not, yet soon will know Them in ways unimagined! SPEAKER: Amergin and Nimue! Amergin and Cliodna! How can one choose? But wait! Nimue and Cliodna?! Yes! The truth revealed at last! The Goddess loves him! Who is the Goddess? She is Kerridwen, the Rigamatrona! Kerridwen, She Who is All Things, gives favor to the Atlantean, who has come from afar; Nine aspects did She take upon Herself, to him, She gives his two Great Loves! CHORUS: Humbled! Startled by She Who Is The Rigamatrona! Grand in Her design of all that is! Presented now in Her Totality! NOW HE KNOWS! SPEAKER: Now the young lord is seen And the goddesses again convene He walks again in the world and finds his power is unfurled Tested cruelly as before Love, Bright and Dark knock at his door He fears of the madness past How long, then, will this test last? But with the tools of Wisdom and Love Past this point madness cannot shove At last the victory is spun He and his Love now have become ONE CHORUS: Now, I see the Great Truth and I dance the ultimate Dance Fearing only ignorance and the loss of the Boundless Chance! Ayea! Ayea! Ayea Rigamatrona!!! |
