Advice to Discontented Gwyddons

It seems of late that I've been hearing from so many discontented Crafters: discontented about their lives, about the way their colleges are run, about not being able to do real Magic, about not being able to read the Patterns of the possible futures, about sex, about love (all the various sorts), and about the fulfillment of their dreams. It's rough and it's sad, but in so many of these cases, the problem lies with the fact that the Crafter insists on not letting go of self-importance and self-struggle. This is not an offer of advice to those Crafters. They know the solution to their problems but they refuse to exercise that knowledge which would set them free. The advice that I'm giving here is to those Crafters who were ill-taught and simply don't know what direction to turn.

First, dear Sisters and Brothers, go back and re-study the Concept in depth. Without a real understanding of the Concept of Oneness, real Magic is a very haphazard thing. In philosophy it is designated as "polytheistic monism." It is studied and practiced by several religions to one degree or another all around the world, and also down through the ages. Some of the religions that practiced were: the Druids, the Hindus, the Kabbalists, the Gwyddons, the Zen Renzai Buddhists, and some of the Greek and Roman philosophers.

Next, go back and do the Little Works over again. And this time, make sure that you understand how and why they work. Put a great deal of study into the Three Eyes of Kerridwen so that each of the Principles are truly clear to you.

Then, do your second degree work over again. Think about this: certain works of Magic that we do can only be done of one really understands what the Negative Force has to do with the Unmanifested. Without this understanding, one could not Double Out, or do immediate healing, or create an elemental or pooka.

When at last you've gotten to the third degree level again, go to a true Gwyddonic Teacher and have him test on Merging without Aid. Don't give up until you can really pass this test. And when you have passed, then next, start to study very carefully how to read Patterns. To do this, study all the known forms of divination and what the "common" factor is in each of those methods.

Now, last of all, if you are a Crafter that belongs to a college whose officers and Elders have become lazy and who no longer maintain the Traditions, Lore, Principles and Laws, what should you do? First and foremost, go to your officers and Elders and tell them about your concerns. It may be that if you can be open and honest, they will listen and correct whatever the problem may be. Perhaps all they needed is to be reminded of their responsibilities to the College and its members. But, if they refuse to listen to a valid request, then you have three options: if you are a third degree, found your own college; or go and join another college that is making an effort to follow the Gwyddonic Teachings; or, if, sadly, there is no other avenue, become a solitary until such time as you can find some Sister or Brother who is making a real effort to progress on the path of WeSSeL. It is better to be a solitary than to be in a cesspool of ego-locked so-called Crafters. But whatever you do, dear Crafter, let WeSSeL be your lifelong guide.

Blessed be ! !
