| The College of Anu was originally founded in Whitesburg, Ky. in 1983 by Fox Dancing (In 1983, Fox Dancing was known as NewFox. Sadly, in 2004, Fox Dancing passed from this plane of existence.), RoseAnna, MacLugh, Nanta-Branwen, and Besidhe. The formation of this College was witnessed by Bel-Adain and Gwalchmei of the College of the Three Cranes, located in California. | This site has been created for those who come seeking the Ancient Knowledge of the Gwyddoniaid-Druids. There is enough information here that one could start their own Druidic College (However, even though the 1st degree is easily learned, please make note that to learn the 2nd degree, a student must have actual contact with their teacher. The same also applies to passing the 3rd degree). If you are inclined to start your own Druidic College, then please feel free to drop us an email. |

| As you may have noticed, we do not utilize the term "coven" when referring to ourselves in a group context. Instead, you will find that we make use of the term "College", which is based on the ancient Latin term "collegium". We are a Teaching Order and for the most part, our method of teaching is based on Questions and Answers (Q & A). We are not a belief-based order, nor do we teach from a belief system, as do the majority of other metaphysical groups. We are a fact-based order. and as such, we teach from a fact-based system. Rather than offering to "teach you the secrets of the universe for the low monthly fee of $29.95" as so many other metaphysical organizations offer to do, we charge you nothing to learn from us. The responsibility of learning and progressing is placed squarely in the student's lap and the student will progress as fast or as slow as he or she is able.
Contained within these pages you will find our Greater Book of the Art and Craft, the basic treatises and information that goes into our Lesser Book, and several other metaphysical treatises. It is hoped by the authors of this site, that those searching for information about Druidism, will find that information here. Welcome! |
